The Fighting Cocks is an award winning pub for being 'Most Family Friendly' in the whole of South Norfolk & for pouring an excellent pint of Guiness.

It is renowned in the area for its history, as well as for its food and drink.
Our pub dates back to the 17th Century and still features original heavy oak beams and inglenook fireplaces.
Local draught ales are sold here, along with Lagers, cider and the usual range of wines and spirits.

We have a lovely beer garden, we're dog friendly, have a large car park adjoining a 7 acre field that will soon become a CL Caravan and Motor home park. We serve good home cooked food using locally sourced ingredients.

Covid Update:

In accordance with the new restrictions we will be closing Tuesday to Saturday at 10pm, Sunday we will be closing at 7pm our usual time.

You are no longer able to order, collect food or drinks from the bar, we are table service only.

Tables of no more than 6 people will need to apply.  We are sure that the majority of you can count to 6, if not please ask a member of staff to help.

Customers will be required to wear a mask when entering the pub until seated and also when moving around the pub or to go to the toilet or outside.

On Friday and Saturday nights there will be a free drink for the mask which is the most creative...You must keep your clothes on though!  Yes, you know who you are..we won't name and shame!!

Please don't follow anyone into the toilets that's just weird!  Only one at a time please.

We ask that you give your name and address or use the track and trace bar code; we don't collect these because we fancy you, it's because we have to, these will be destroyed after 21 days unless you annoy us, then we'll auction them off!  (that's a joke!).

Please remember we don't make the rules we just have to follow them, we can still have fun.

Many thanks to all of our loyal customers, you know who you are...and please remember to keep loving your local.
